About Me

Hi, I’m Kristy Rohrer – founder of KR11 Football Academy.

Football has been a part of my life for over 30 years. I began my journey at Westfields Sports High School, where I trained as a student-athlete and earned a place at the NSW Institute of Sport. At just 18, I travelled to the UK to chase my dream and played for Fulham FC in the Women’s Premier League. After two incredible seasons overseas, I returned home to start my next big adventure — becoming a mum to my two beautiful children.
Once my kids were a little older, I laced up the boots again and began playing semi-professionally in the NSW NPLW, representing Blacktown Spartans and NWS Koalas. These years reignited my love for the game and reminded me just how powerful football can be in shaping confidence, discipline, and connection.
Now, I’m passionate about giving back to the game that’s given me so much. Through KR11 Football Academy, I’m committed to helping the next generation grow their skills, develop their passion, and feel empowered on and off the field.
Alongside my football experience, I’m also a qualified personal trainer and have coached youth teams at both Blacktown Spartans and NWS Koalas. My approach to coaching blends high-level football knowledge with a strong focus on individual development, mindset, and fun.
Whether you’re a beginner or striving for elite levels, I’m here to help you reach your full potential — and love the game while you do it.
